He was valedictorian of neuroscience majors and graduated summa cum laude with a triple major from the University of Delaware where he received an Honors Bachelor of Science Degree with Distinction and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He was in the top 1% of his medical school class and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed a 5-year residency in Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital followed by a 1-year fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University. He works at Smith Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Aesthetic Center and is based out of Denver, Colorado. He holds privileges at AdventHealth Littleton Hospital and AdventHealth Porter Hospital.
Dr. Bovenzi has presented at numerous national and international meetings over the years and is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
